Our next play is 'Out of Order' by Ray Cooney, the "master of British farce". This is the first play of our 2015 70th Anniversary season. We've been creating fantastic theatre in Grantham for seven decades and we still love it.
It's back to the 1980s for our pre-election show, poking fun at the shenanigans of the Westminster crowd. A little light relief amongst the election coverage!
'Out of Order follows the exploits of scandal-ridden junior MP Richard 'Dicky' Willey. He's not only skiving off a crucial debate, he's trying to have an illicit affair with an opposition secretary! When a dead body, his wife and interfering hotel staff turn up, the scene is set for a classic farce.

To help us get in the mood, we created a new parody video featuring our cast and recreating the brilliant 80s music video for Robert Palmer's song 'Addicted to Love'.

This nomination recognises the high standard achieved by our cast, crew and director in bringing this challenging show to the stage. NODA production awards celebrate the overall achievement of the entire show.
The show's director, Helen Pack, said: "This is so thrilling. It's a cliché but it really is an honour just to be nominated! The whole team worked incredibly hard on this production, including the technical team at the Guildhall, and we're proud of the high standard we achieved. This nomination is the icing on the cake!"
The winner of the award for the East Midlands region will be announced at a NODA event in June.
