It's now only a few weeks until our production of Amanda Whittington's fantastic play, Ladies Day.
Starting out in a Hull fish factory before the characters end up at Royal Ascot Ladies Day, this play has all the warmth, humour and pathos of Calendar Girls. It's a wonderful story about real people getting a fantasy day out that could change their lives forever.
The cast and crew are having a fabulous time, and are working hard to realise the director's vision. Heather Butterworth said: "I was very fortunate to be able to cast a talented team of actors to play both the four ladies and the six men whose paths they cross. As the Director, I started with a vision about the play. The energy and passion from the cast and crew throughout the rehearsals have brought that vision to life!"
The show opens on 22nd May, and runs until the 25th May. Performances are at 7.30pm nightly. Book your tickets now on the Guildhall website, or call on 01476 406158. Don't forget your raffle money!

'Ladies Day' tells the story of four women who find tickets for Royal Ascot Ladies Day the year it was forced to transfer to York. Most days they're cleaning fish in a dockside factory, but this day they get their gladrags on and head out to the racetrack.
It's a heartwarming, rib-tickling story of friendship, fortune and more. Tickets will be on sale soon!
