Membership is open to all - whoever you are, wherever you live and however young you feel.

Try before you buy

We recommend you come along to a few rehearsals or socials to get to know the group before you join properly.

We're a very welcoming bunch and you're sure to make some great new friends.

If you're a bit shy (aren't we all) maybe you'd prefer to meet for a coffee in town and have a chat about what we do and what's coming up that you could get involved in. We might even pay for the brew!

Membership fees

All active members of the Society are asked to make a contribution towards its running costs.

Why? As users of the Green Room, all members pays towards building rent, insurance and electricity.

Those who take part in shows pay towards stage insurance, theatre hire and transport costs.

Annual cash or cheque

Student members are able to pay on an annual basis if they wish:

£12 payable at the June AGM


Membership runs from June to June, so if a new member joins part way through the year, they are eligible for a discount:

£12 if you join during the autumn production

£6 if you join during the spring production
