Following our hugely popular and successful production of Hi-de-Hi, we’ve decided to offer our costumes for hire. Knowing how much effort it took to get our costumes, props and sets together to create an authentic 1950s holiday camp experience, we hope our kit can help with your production. We based our costumes closely on the original TV series for that all-important authentic look. Our fees are a fraction of the costume hire shops or production companies, and we’re here to help.
We took great care in making our costumes, and we’re proud to offer them for hire. For example, the badges on the Yellowcoats were professionally embroidered, Ted’s costume was sourced from an equestrian supplier, and Yvonne’s stunning blue gown features a vintage 1950s petticoat! Attention to detail was a key concern. Peggy’s hat is embroidered with the Maplin’s logo, the bin costume comes complete with fake porridge and Barry has handkerchiefs folded into shapes the original character wore. The ‘Miss Yellowcoat 1959’ sash even features diamante detailing.
We can offer a full set of costumes in a variety of sizes. We know you won’t be disappointed.
PLEASE NOTE: We only hire to theatre productions, not for fancy dress.
We can now offer costumes and props for Allo Allo and Pink Panther. We also have a range of military and fire brigade uniforms and clothes from many periods. Please contact us for more information!
